IMPACTxp is a modular Client/Server based maintenance and facilities management software solution developed using rapid development tools from Progress Software. IMPACTxp is supplied as standard with the powerful Progress Relational Database Management System (RDBMS). This is an open database that can run on a wide selection of hardware platforms ranging from a single user Windows PC to Windows Server and UNIX platforms. The Progress Database is also very simple to administer and has been shown to have a total cost of ownership that is 70% less than Oracle.
